Outsourced CFO, and business strategies. He specializes in small to medium-size business management to maximize growth and cost reduction. Mike is also a business and individual tax and accounting consultant.

• Monroe Community College and Rochester Institute of Technology graduate majoring in Accounting and Business Administration.

• Former contract auditor for Kodak, Xerox, Cooper Industries, and Carrier Corporation.

• Held the position of Vice President of Accounting and Business Operations for an electronics distribution corporation in Rochester, NY. He was directly involved in revamping their business portfolio from consumer to industrial and service electronics components and apparatuses. In addition, he updated and employed the latest industry-standard accounting policies and procedures.

• Held the position of Vice President of a fiber optics test equipment company located in Central Update New York. He supervised and directed the company’s management team and personnel to elevate monthly sales from $300,000 to $1.5 Million.

• Established MCB Associates, Inc. in 1987 to provide business and tax strategies to the Central and Update New York area. The business reincorporated to MCB Consulting Services Limited in 2002 and in 2023 is now doing business as MCB Consulting Group.

• Relocated to Asheville, North Carolina, in 2002 assisting small and medium-sized businesses with a full range of accounting, business strategies, management operations, and tax planning services.

• Is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor for both online and desktop disciplines.

Mike was born in Michigan and resided in New York State until his move to North Carolina in 2002 with his wife of 32 years, Susan. He grew up in small-town America with his parents, who both served in the US Military, and three siblings. Mike has one adult child and a grandchild. When he is not working, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, music, sports, and hiking. Mike has also served on several boards such as, The Asheville Community Theatre.
